Tissue Paper Flower

Tissue Paper Flower

Who needs real flowers when you can have fun faux flowers like these? No refrigeration needed! Stack six pieces of tissue paper, cut to equal size. Cut the stack in half. Each half will make one flower. Fold each half accordion style in 1” (2.5 cm) folds, Fasten the center with a pipe cleaner in a matching color.

Cut the paper ends in curves to resemble large petals. Lay the accordion folds flat and pull layers toward the center, two layers at a time. Fluff the petals as needed. Choose multicolored tissues for an eye popping effect or muted colors for a softer scheme.
